The M version of the BMW Z4 is famously known by nature for being anything but underpowered, since the chassis of the sports convertible already has a heck of a lot of work with the 343 HP and the forward thrust in the lower gears could last forever.</p>
<p>As is generally known however, the sport oriented motorist can never have enough power at his command. Sufficient cause for Gnther Manhart, who by now has over 25 years experience in rebuilding BMW engines &#8211; a first for Europe to transplant a brand new, much stronger heart into the Z4. The transplantation of the ten cylinder engine from the current M5 generation into the narrow engine bay of the roadster was anything but a walk in the park and it earned the Manhart Racing engineers quite a few grey hairs. Nevertheless: everything fitted in the end and now the fire of a 5.0 litre V10 engine with an impressive output of 550 HP blazes above the front axle of the Z4. A catalytic converter, a modified DME electronic control unit and the removal of the factory-set V-Max restriction up to 250 km/h are part of the rebuild. Consistent to the M5 V10 engine Manhart Racing has treated the Z4 to an original M5 E60 6 gear manual transmission which includes a Fichtel &#038; Sachs clutch and a M5 E60 differential. An AC Schnitzer stainless steel exhaust system with four muffler tips which was fitted with HJS racing catalytic converters caters for a perfect V10 sound at the rear.</p>
<p>The Manhart Z4 M V10 goes like hell and thanks to the perfectly tuned Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilovers, the virtually unrestrained power of 550 HP can be brought under control to the tarmac. Black BBS Challenge wheels rotate in the wheel arches of the Manhart Z4 M V10 with 8.5Jx19 ET35 235/35ZR19 front tyres and 10Jx19 ET20 285/30ZR19 back tyres.</p>
<p>Conclusion: 550 HP ten cylinders, an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, kerb weight 1450kg, 2.6kg per HP&#8230; who could guess that these impressive figures belong to a Z4? Hardly anyone, however Manhart Racing turns dreams into reality and does this with 25 years experience.</p>

The much anticipated E90 M3 Sedan has now been released with all-new lightweight aerodynamic components.</p>
<p>The new body upgrades consist of dry carbon fiber front add-on spoiler that is shared with the E92 M3 coupe and unique carbon fiber rear aero diffuser which has the 3 integrated diffuser fins. To complete the package a new replacement carbon boot lid with a built in lip spoiler enhances down force and has over 35% weight savings over the factory steel unit.</p>
<p>Production all E90 M3 parts have commenced and are available to all dealers and customers worldwide.</p>

Creating the ultimate BMW, nothing less was the set target for the G-POWER engineers when they started to designe the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS.</p>
<p>The starting basis for this project is the currently most exclusive model in the BMW product range, the BMW M6. Due to the combination of this fantastic basis with the technical innovative products of G-POWER, it was able to create a sports car of superlatives. Powered by a V10 SK III RS twin-supercharger engine with 750 hp / 552 kW, which enabled the G-POWER world record car to achieve a top speed of 367,4 km/h, the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS has got what it takes to be a member of the super car league.</p>
<p>Further characteristics of the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS is the multipart widebody kit, the high performance Carbon-Ceramic break system, the individually adjustable suspension kit and last but not least the nifty 21 inch G-POWER wheels with MICHELIN tyres.After the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS broke the world record for the fastest sedan, G-POWER developed this idea to use this potential to build the world’s fastest BMW coupe, the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS.</p>
<p>For this project, the redesigned twin supercharger system of the world record car for the fast-revving V10 was used. Compared to the standard system, both belt-driven ASA T1-313 superchargers, each providing charge air for one cylinder bank, were replaced by larger ASA T1-316 models. They have the capacity to increase the volume of charge air by up to 25 percent but only a fraction of that was utilized in this engine. The air volume these chargers are capable of would theoretically be sufficient for a rated power output in excess of 900 hp. The pre-compressed air from both superchargers is cooled for maximum power yield in a dual-flow water-to-air intercooler painted G-POWER orange. This sophisticated cast-aluminum component replaces the stock airbox above the engine. Because of its close proximity to the engine it produces the same instant throttle response as the production engine, albeit with considerably more torque.</p>
<p>The inner workings of the ten-cylinder four-valve engine are optimized with forged high-performance pistons from Mahle that reduce compression. They have been precisely matched for weight and are much stronger than their production counterparts. The production piston rods and pins also had to make way for special components that can handle the much higher forces.</p>
<p>Further optimized mapping of the engine electronics also contributes to the increased power output of 750 hp / 552 kW, available between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm. The engine delivers its peak torque of 800 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS sets new performance records not just for top speed with more than 370 km/h. With sprint times of less than 4.4 seconds from rest to 100 km/h, 9.6 seconds to 200 km/h and 26 seconds to 300 km/h the nearly two-ton coupe is at the head of the pack in these categories as well.</p>
<p>Two tons and a top speed of 370 km/h naturally place extreme demands on the tires, which were mounted on G-POWER light-alloy wheels. Technology partner Michelin provided high-performance Pilot Sport PS2 tires in sizes 255/35 ZR 19 in front and 305/30 ZR 19 on the rear axle. These tires were the only ones capable of handling the extreme stress. In everyday driving the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS runs on 21-inch Silverstone Diamond wheels with size 255/30 ZR 21 and 295/25 ZR 21 tires, due to the capacity of the tires the top speed has to be limited to 340 km/h, than.</p>
<p>In addition to the most powerful BMW engine ever to power a street-legal BMW, favorable aerodynamic properties were of elementary importance. The needed body kit has to fulfill to function at once. First of all it has to generate enough down force to keep the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS on the ground at speeds of more than 300 km/h and secondly it responsible for transform the standard BMW M6 into a super sports car. That is why G-POWER designed a unique widebodykit made entirely from carbon fibre. In addition to producing the desired downforce it is also designed to supply much more cooling air. It consists of front apron, bonnet with vents, rocker panels, wheel arche attachments, rear aprons with diffusor and a rear spoiler wing.</p>
<p>At the same time G-POWER puts the BMW M6 on a diet and makes it lose weight bit by bit. The biggest share is taken by the G-POWER complete exhaust system made entirely form titan which lets the dynamic back pressure drop just like the weight. 24 kg are saved compared to the standard exhaust system.</p>
<p>In the vehicle interior G-POWER switches the standard front seats against racing seats made from carbon fibre, which ensure a perfect support for the drive in its fight against the centrifugal forces. Of course these seats are lighter than the standard seats as well and again the M6 has lost 24 kg.</p>
<p>Weight neutral, but not without effects is the G-POWER suspension package CLUBSPORT. It optimizes the road handling of the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS to perfection and is consisting of the continuously height-adjustable G-POWER coil-over RS suspension with nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound and the G-POWER anit-roll-bar kit for front and rear axle.</p>
<p>The option list of the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS ends with a true highlight: a Carbon-Ceramic break system with 6-piston calibres and brake discs with 380 mm in diameter. This heavy duty brake system delivers declaration rates beyond the gravity on a constant rate and at the same time are 50% lighter than the standard brakes.</p>
<p>The standout cockpit of the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS features a speedometer with 400-km/h scale, clear-coated carbon-fiber panels for dash, center console and doors, as well as an ergonomically shaped G-POWER sport steering wheel with especially pleasant perforated Kjerba Nappa leather.</p>
<p>The G-POWER M6 HURRICANE CS can be ordered as a complete car starting at 360.000 Euros.</p>

When beads of perspiration form on the brow of experienced sports car drivers, it&#8217;s not necessarily down to a faulty air conditioning system. With the 420 V8-HP of the BMW M3, the ACS3 Sport catapults even its keenest challengers into the rear view mirror. The sporting coupé is ideal for anyone seeking to gain advantage on twisting tracks. A normal M3 would be a tough competitor here, because in comparison with the &#8220;civilised&#8221; 3-series Coupé it has a totally different axle construction. With racing suspension developed on the legendary Nürburgring, AC Schnitzer has succeeded in refining the handling potential of the chassis even further. And fitted with the Short Shift from Aachen, the ACS3 Sport becomes the automotive hero of the day: No-one is changing gears faster!</p>
<p>Best of all: The vehicle loses nothing of its qualities as a daily driver. Instead, AC Schnitzer magics even more M-otion into everyday life, for example when the Aachen exhaust system plays its bewitching baritone in a road tunnel. The left/right system with two tailpipes per side, linked into a horizontal figure of eight, is however a visual work of art. In a play on the mathematical symbol for &#8220;infinity&#8221;, at the same time it symbolises the powerful reserves of the vehicle which reaches 100 km/h from a standing start in an effortless 4.8 seconds. No less carefully arranged are the aerodynamic attachments, which for AC Schnitzer are always more than mere visual decoration. At the rear, a diffuser of visible carbon presses the car down onto the tarmac as if there were magnets below the road surface. The front spoiler is also made from this high quality material, and is supported against the front skirt with alloy struts as in motorsport. Further downforce is provided by a subtle rear roof spoiler and rear wing which also give the body exciting new contours. Side skirt extensions, in particular when combined with the white paint of the photo model, give the profile an aura of stature and dynamism. Finally the AC Schnitzer racing rims Type VI embody pure culture, on the ACS3 Sport in sizes 9.0J x 20&#8243; on the front and 10.5J x 20&#8243; on the rear. The combination of Y-spokes and contrasting five fork spokes superimposed in two planes, produces a design that is as exciting as it is elegant.</p>
<p>Further highlights of course include the forged wheel Type V in 20&#8243;. With its strikingly curved, interrupted spokes, it not only looks superb but thanks to the lightweight construction method, keeps the unsprung weight to a minimum. A no less attractive alternative is the Type IV racing wheel in silver &#8211; and with trendy black finish as &#8220;Magic Black”. And naturally AC Schnitzer continues the theme of sports performance in the driver&#8217;s workplace, offering attractive and ergonomically perfect aluminium controls for the gearknob, handbrake handle, pedals and i-Drive controller. A carbon interior trim and sports airbag steering wheel are also available on request.</p>
